Great Western Embroiderers
The Members of Great Western Embroiderers have put together this selection of work which was inspired by Cricklade North Meadow. It is part of a much more extensive body of work which was exhibited in the Corinium Museum Cirencester in 2010. Click the icon on the bottom right of the display above to see the work a full screen size.
The work shown above was exhibited in the Fritillary Tea Room in April 2011. Members were challenged to produce an A4 piece linked to North Meadow in a style of their choice. The exhibition included a very wide variety of techniques and interpretations.
Great Western Embroiderers has around 20 members who meet regularly in the United Church Hall Cricklade to stitch together and share knowledge. You can find out more at http://greatwesternembroiderers.blogspot.com/
